Farm Accommodation

Accommodation is to a reasonable standard. and in compliance with the Health and Safety in Work Act - 2015. Housing is provided by the employer and will be semi furnished. Some farms do require employees to share accommodation, however, each person will always have their own room. The value of the accommodation shall be assessed for taxation purposes according to the requirements of the Inland Revenue Department. You will pay rent, and your salary will reflect this. The applicant must agree to maintain the property in a clean and tidy condition and free from any damage beyond normal fair wear and tear. If the applicant fails to do so, the employer could deduct the reasonable cost of repairs from any money owing. If guests are staying at the accommodation, prior permission from the employer will be required.

During the term of this programme the employer will inspect the accommodation upon serving reasonable notice to the applicant. Power, internet and telephone are considered extra costs and are the responsibility of the employee - you will be generally billed by the employer.
